future, supporting and participating in the activities of the state Division of Cultural
Affairs, and building models for school programs in all the arts. It aims to develop
and maintain a level of visibility and credibility with appropriate agencies of
government, with the arts community, and with the media, sufficient to influence
policy matters regarding the arts in Florida. It also aims to serve as an advocate
and/or watchdog for statewide arts issues.
A typical yearly agenda has included the following:

- Certification standards for K-12 arts teachers
- Models for school programs in Florida
